The Den Rules
The Wolf Den is a place where people come to relax, create content, hang out, make new friends, share their creations and collaborate with each other in a friendly, safe and non-threatening environment. The rules are simple and are there to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience and keeping the peace. Breaking them could mean you get banned!
The den is looked after by a friendly group of volunteer moderators called Alphas (short for Alpha Wolves). Alphas have red names and special moderator badges. Alphas can warn, time out or ban wolves that break The Den Rules. The Alphas help Luke Wolf® Staff keep the den a safe and fun place for everyone.
🔑 A. Access
1. Account Security – It is your responsibility to take the appropriate steps to protect your account from unauthorised access. Although, Luke Wolf® Staff and Alpha Wolves will attempt to help where possible, we cannot take responsibility for it’s safety. Remember to use two-factor authentication to secure your account.
2. Sharing Accounts – It is strictly forbidden to share your accounts with anyone else, including friends or family members because if they break The Den Rules while they are using your account, the ban may not be lifted. Encourage them to make their own account and use that instead.
3. Appropriate Access – If you have access to a special or sensitive areas of someone else’s community (E.G being a moderator or an administrator) or if there is an arrangement where sharing an account for business or technical purposes is expected, then you are expected to use that access as intended and with good spirits.
⁉️ Alphas will ban anyone on the spot for breaking these rules to protect wolves from threats to their own or others’ security.
🪪 P. Personal
1. Real Life Meetings – wolves are never allowed to use the Wolf Den to make arrangements to meet each other in real life. It is also strictly forbidden to attempt to work out the current location or a place of regular occupying whereabouts of another wolf.
2. Information – never share or request personal information such as phone numbers, home or work addresses, school addresses, bank accounts or registrations of a vehicle or vessel, any license numbers, identification or payment card details in the Den.
3. Privacy – respect the privacy of other wolves. If you have any sensitive information or conversations of another wolf, you must keep it to yourself. Never share anything considered sensitive without their permission.
⁉️ Alphas may ban immediately. Any alternative actions from Alpha Wolves to enforce these rules will be strict to protect the safety of other wolves in these situations. You never know who you’re really talking to, so be careful who you share what information with.
👌 B. Behaviour
1. Interaction – all interactions must be friendly, positive and respectful without insulting or slandering other wolves. Jokes are OK only if they are appreciated by the other wolf, otherwise an apology must be made. When playing games with other wolves must do with sharing and fairness in mind. Socially isolating another wolf under any circumstances will not be tolerated.
2. Intention – every wolf is welcome here as long as the intentions are pure to the heart of the den, meaning that you are here to contribute positively to the pack – chat, ask questions, answer questions, post friendly content, help others and share with each other. However, wolves that engage in trolling, bullying, hating, scamming, manipulating or any other behaviour that demonstrates a destructive purpose in the den will be treated as outsiders and will be permanently banned.
3. Acceptance – Replies to questions must be helpful and friendly. Dismissive or down-putting replies to questions will not be tolerated. It’s very important to accept a wolf for who they are and not disrespect anyone’s race, culture, personal feature, height, size, sexuality, gender or origin.
4. Order – anything that disrupts the den and annoys the pack will not be tolerated. This includes but not limited to spamming the same message repeatedly or commercial advertising. This also means that content must be posted in their relevant channels and categories.
5. Decent Exposure – keep chat and behaviour clean. Engaging in sexual behaviours, conversations or describing acts of a sexually graphic nature is forbidden. This is not an adult wolf only community, there are minor wolves too, regardless whether or not they are immediately present, it is not a culture that is wanted here.
6. Medieval Barbarity – wolves will be immediately treated as outsiders and risk being banned for advocating or engaging in real life death, graphic gore violence, sexual violence, torture, terrorism, warfare, slavery, capital punishments, judicial amputations and anything else that is determined to be of the same level of contextual severity.
7. Wolf Advocacy – everyone is themed as a wolf here so respect of the species is expected. Anyone that disrespects the wolf species will be moderated. For anyone advocating death, violence or any form of mistreatment to any animal will be immediately banned.
8. Communication – all communication must be in English for moderation purposes. None-English words written or verbal must be accompanied with the respective translation or interpretation.
9. Correct Context – any context of a behaviour or statement on behalf of another wolf must be correctly represented. You will be moderated if you intentionally and maliciously take their behaviour or any statements out of context in order to project a negative view of them.
10. Moderation Directives – Alpha Wolves are highly respected and trained moderation personnel. If you are given a direction by an Alpha Wolf, including any enforcement action, you must follow and respect it. Any form of disrespect in response to a direction will result in an escalated form of moderation action.
⁉️ Alphas will assess the circumstances, severity and intention of a wolf breaking these rules before deciding to warn, time out or ban so that a safe, friendly and non-threatening social environment is maintained.
📺 C. Content
3. Legitimate Possession – Claiming ownership of content must be legitimately owned by you otherwise it must be declared that you do not own the content. Content under the complaint of plagiarism where permission is not declared or received will be moderated.
⁉️ Alphas will remove content if they believe it is going to have a negative impact on the community. They may or may not decide to take disciplinary action on wolves that break these rules as this would depend on their intentions.
