Comments:
In order to complete the rest of the game, I have had to add some additional features. For example, the biggest feature introduced is the loading and saving feature. The game will now automatically save at the start of every level so you don't have to, then whenever going back to the main menu, you can continue from the level you left off. I have also incorporated version checking with save game data so that we can communicate with players regarding an earlier version save game file so that they know that whenever the game updates, it is recommended to start all over again. Also, a modification was made to Dash where he is no longer going to continue charging up when he cannot see Cheeky, he will just resume patrol in the direction he saw last in and a series of bug fixes. However, we are still experiencing some problems with Dash so testers are recommended to test Dash out as much as possible with the hammer and other behaviours in an attempt to reproduce a stuck bug that happens with him. Please ask me directly if you need more information about this, and lastly, new features and levels do require testing so please test and provide feedback, good and bad is much appreciated.
Need info:
1) Dash getting stuck after he sees Cheeky at the same time he finishes rotating in the opposite direction.
2) Dash getting stuck when he gets with a hammer. I believe is related to the previous one but I could be wrong.
Changelog:
NEW:
1) Automatic saving feature where loading is made possible via the main menu.
2) Version checking for save files from an earlier version of the game.
3) Communication dialogue incorporated when a version misalignment is detected with a save file.
4) Section 6 of levels (after level 50), the key is broken up and scattered across the level.
5) The key reforging process to put back together a key that is broken up. Press enter to activate the forge when you have all the pieces.
6) Strength power-up added. Provides invulnerability for a short time and protection against clam bites.
MODIFY:
1) Dash will resume patrol when Cheeky goes out of sight and he is charging to attack him.
FIX:
1) Fixed an issue where clams were not getting stunned when they go to eat a strengthened Cheeky.
2) Fixed an issue where Chomp was not reacting to Cheeky's death correctly while he was chasing Cheeky.
3) Fixed a bug where the key was going to Cheeky for collection after he died and came back to life.
Next in development:
1) Section 7 of levels to be made.
2) More bug fixes.
